Hey loves! Today I’m coming at you with a DIY that I thought was fairly simple to blog about. I was googling wrap chokers to buy one day and they were pretty pricey. I don’t know about you, but I am a person who loves saving money. So where do I go to look for supplies? Joann’s of course!

There are many ways to decorate these chokers, I am just showing you the way I did it with the beading of my choice. The choices are literally limitless.

I’ll tell you the steps I used to make these new and trending chokers.

  1. DSC_0128First you are going to need scissors, beading of your choice, a suede string and a lighter or matches. I bought the 3 pack, since I wanted multiple colors. 2 yards is the perfect amount for one choker. (click picture for link)

Next, you are going to want to cut the end at an angle so it’s easier to slide the string through the bead.

Then, what I did is twisted the string into the bead while pushing it through. The first time it wasn’t working out for me, but the 2nd time worked out just fine and it took no time at all.

After you twist it through, you will need to tie it at the end.

And of course cut off the excess string. I didn’t show this step, but I burned the knot a bit with a match to make sure it will never come undone.

This is the final look! I really love this choker trend. I have been wearing the life out of it lately! You can tie it in a bow, or like the one below, just a simple knot.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little DIY and get your festival looks together for the summer!

Muchos besos
